The Match: Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels considered this the chance to create their own magnum opus that'd go down in the annals of time as a bonafide classic. Their 60-minute 'Iron Man' encounter was a slow-burning epic that didn't include one decision during the first hour - it went to overtime instead.

That's where Shawn's "boyhood dream" came true when he bagged the WWF Title.

Why It Sucked: Fans in Anaheim were either burned out by earlier action on the pay-per-view or just felt like 60 minutes was too long to give a sh*t. By halfway, most seemed to click that Bret and Shawn were going to wrestle the entire hour without one pinfall or submission on the board.

Some fans left before the 60 minutes had elapsed too. Ample rest-holds and the deliberate nature of the match didn't do it for those who wanted a 20-25 minute blockbuster. People fleeing the building before the finish proves that.

It couldn't have helped that fans at ringside didn't have the benefit of commentary to help tell the story.
