In similar fashion, Steve Austin's last match came against The Rock. At WrestleMania XIX in 2003, 'Stone Cold' put one of his greatest opponents over, a truly selfless act. The bout wasn't quite as good as previous matches between the men, but it was still one hell of an attraction for the Pay-Per-View. It's proof of how well both guys worked together that the 2003 match was their third featured collision at WrestleMania. Years earlier in 1999, The Rock and Austin were the perfect fit at 'Mania XV. Then, they would perhaps even top that effort at 'Mania X-Seven in 2001. Favouring a brawling style, the pair electrified fans each and every time they squared off. Even before they were in the main event, they could still work wonders. In Your House: D-Generation X is one of the most commonly lambasted Pay-Per-Views in WWF/WWE history. One of the only bright spots was an Intercontinental Title scrap between The Rock and Steve Austin. Even though Austin was still suffering neck issues, the pair had sufficient natural chemistry. This helped the match become memorable, despite the short length and limitations.
