10 Greatest Female Wrestling Managers Ever

10. Woman

One of the toughest women to ever enter the wrestling business, Woman made her debut in Florida during the dying days of the territories. It was there that she met Kevin Sullivan, whom she would eventually go onto marry. She would enjoy her first run of national exposure with WCW. It was there that she experienced her first real success as a manager, leading the underrated team of Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, known collectively as Doom. A brief relationship with the legendary Four Horsemen preceded her departure from Ted Turner's company and her arrival in the cutting edge, hardcore Extreme Championship Wrestling, owned by fellow WCW alumni Paul Heyman. It was in ECW that Woman really came into her own. She not only excelled as a manager, she demonstrated an on-screen presence that drew the attention of the viewer to her instantly. She was not only incredibly beautiful, she was incredibly dangerous and that aura of danger helped her fit right in with Heyman's vision for his company and the stories he crafted for one of his promotion's top stars, The Sandman. Whether she was staring seductively into the camera, lighting a cigarette for the ECW champion or holding his Singapore cane, Woman was key to the establishing of Sandman's persona. Following her time in ECW, she would return to WCW and once again align herself with the Four Horsemen. A real life affair with Chris Benoit was the cause for very real drama behind the scenes and dissolving of her relationship with Sullivan. She disappeared from the air in 1997.
