10 Greatest LGBTQ Fighters In UFC History

3. Jessica Andrade

After a respectable, albeit unspectacular, 4-3 run in the UFC bantamweight division, Jessica Andrade decided to try her luck as a strawweight and would go on a remarkable run.

The hard-hitting 28-year-old has collected wins over the division's brightest on her way to capturing the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship. During her time in the promotion, the Brazilian has picked up victories over Claudia Gadelha, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and former champ, Rose Namajunas.

It was a busy year for the MMA great. In 2019, she both captured and lost the strawweight title, had her car stolen at gunpoint, while still finding time to marry her longtime girlfriend Fernanda Gomes. Definitely, a year with more than its share of ups and downs.

Despite losing the title to Zhang Weili in August, Andrade is still the number one ranked strawweight and is still one of the best the division has to offer.
