Made more significant by the unparalleled career that he went on to enjoy, The Undertaker’s debut at Survivor Series 1990 is one of WWE’s all-time historic moments.

And as a mystery partner reveal, it had everything.

Intrigue: who was this 6'10" behemoth? He had worked live shows - under the short-lived name Kane The Undertaker - but this was the 'Deadman’s first televised appearance.

Logical storytelling: His selection as a hired gun displayed the cunning of team captain Ted DiBiase; quickly illustrated by ‘Taker’s elimination of Koko B. Ware inside two minutes.

Lasting impact: ‘Takers introduction had an effect felt way beyond that night at the Hartford Civic Centre. Title wins, legendary matches, WrestleMania streaks - all were born on the back of this successful debut. Had it happened another way, the rest may not have followed.

The Undertaker will go down as one of the best ever, and this is where it all began.
