10 Greatest Performers In WrestleMania History

8. Charlotte Flair

While a certain subset of wrestling fans will rankle at Charlotte’s persistent spot at the top of her division, the fact is she’s an immensely talented performer and one who has proved it on the grandest stage many times over.

She has repeatedly put on arguably the night’s best match, starting with her ‘Mania debut against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks at 32. The culmination of the women’s evolution saw three of the four horsewomen determined to show what they could do, and achieving this in style; it’s a fast, slick, stiff match that sees Charlotte go over as the inaugural women’s champion.

The 33 four-way is less exciting, but her dream match against Asuka the following year is sensational. The two work brilliantly together, complimenting one another perfectly and putting on an unpredictable affair. Flair winning probably was the wrong choice, but the match is still great.

The following year, she made history as part of the first women’s headline match. It’s an uncommonly selfless performance from Flair here, who knows she’s absolutely not the focus of the clash but is integral in bringing the clash together.

And at 36, there’s a true show-stealing match for Rhea Ripley’s NXT title. Again there’s a strong argument that Flair shouldn’t have won, but the chemistry in this first time encounter is palpable, and in an empty performance centre, they put on something pretty special.
