10 Greatest Tag-Teams WWE Missed Out On
6. The Outsiders
Both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall experienced a lot of success as singles stars in the WWF. Hall was more commonly kept in the Intercontinental Title hunt during his spell as Razor Ramon, whereas Nash's Diesel character made it further up the ladder to hold the WWF Heavyweight Title for around a full year.
In 1996, they decided to leave the company and move to WCW. Along the way, they enlisted Hulk Hogan to form the very first incarnation of the New World Order at the Bash At The Beach pay-per-view that year. For a few months before, Hall and Nash had been working together as a tag-team.
Known as The Outsiders, the insinuation was that they had come from the WWF to rule WCW. It was a genius storyline, one of the best WCW ever came up with. As a tag-team, Hall and Nash were cherished in the promotion for a few years after they had formed as a tandem.
Personal problems would derail Hall's career towards the late-90's, but - at least for a while - The Outsiders showed Vince McMahon what he was missing out on.
