10 Greatest Ultimate Opportunists In WWE History
8. Dean Ambrose
The Lunatic Fringe wasted little time seizing an opportunity and etching his name in the history books.
On 19 June 2016, Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio, and Cesaro to win Money in the Bank. After two years of coming close, he finally leaped over the hurdle and captured the briefcase that would guarantee him a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot.
Less than one hour later, he would interrupt Seth Rollins' celebration, cancelling pyro and confetti and cashing in his contract. Within seconds, he dropped his primary tormentor with Dirty Deeds and collected the first heavyweight championship of his career.
Arguably the most popular wrestler of the last two years, Ambrose was showered with an enormous pop and WWE had a special moment to show for years to come in video packages and WWE Network specials.
