2. Texas Death Match - Cactus Jack vs. Vader (Halloween Havoc 1993)
The second of two Texas Death Matches to appear on this list featured Cactus Jack and Big Van Vader squaring off in what was sure to be one of the most violent, hard-hitting, brain-rattling and bone-breaking matches in WCW history. The enemies had spent months brutalizing one another in some truly stomach churning matches, the likes of which made fans watching live and at home wonder how two human beings were able to punish each other the way they were. But they did and, as it turned out, they saved their worst (or best, depending on your viewpoint) for their highest profile match to date, at Halloween Havoc 1993. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x21yhnk_wcw-halloween-havoc-1993-cactus-jack-vs-vader_sport With the rules stating that the only way to win was to incapacitate your opponent to the point that they could not answer the referee's ten count, both men set out to do as much damage to each other as possible. Jack and Vader fought into an open grave, emerged bloody and more determined to do each other great harm and resumed blasting one another with whatever they could get their hands on. Harley Race, one of the toughest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots, was Vader's manager and got in on the action, trying to use a chair to adversely affect Jack's chances of winning. But Jack fought back, withstanding Vader's 450-pound frame crashing down on him, to be on his way to victory. It took a taser from Race to put the double-tough competitor down and preserve the victory for Vader.
