10 Greatest Wrestling Logic Fails

6. Inconsistent Strength

When WWE want to make a wrestler look strong, they go all out. The likes of John Cena and Braun Strowman have been made to look superhuman at times, the former hefting Edge and Big Show onto his shoulders at the same time, the latter flipping an ambulance over in a spot that straddled the line between cool and cartoonishly silly.

Strength is a moveable feast in WWE, though. One day Cena can lift two superstars without sweat, the next he’s struggling to lift the giant alone. The commentators will lose their minds over his ability to overcome the odds and pick up Big Show, even though we’ve seen him do it time and again.

Similarly, Strowman’s astonishing strength doesn’t seem to translate to the ring. He has so far turned over an ambulance, a limo, and a great big truck. He is evidently the strongest person ever to walk the earth and yet, until recently, he hasn’t been booked as such.

These are just intended to be cool spots, and maybe aren’t meant to exist in the character’s wider narrative. But once you’ve flipped over your third vehicle, it’s not something you can just forget.
