10 Hidden Gem Wrestlers That Would Blow AEW Fans’ Minds

3. Dan Moloney

24 years old but already eight years into his career as a professional wrestler, Dan Moloney won't be a free agent for long. It's only a matter of time before a major promotion snaps up one of the most well-presented performers in the United Kingdom, who has put great work into transforming his body over the past few years, all while honing his in-ring craft.

Brought through the Midlands scene primarily via Trent Seven's Fight Club Pro as the British indies were first taking flight, Moloney entered the WWE system through the United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017. He has since dropped out of the rotation, having worked only a handful of dates since February 2019, though his independent output is impressive. One of the few standouts remaining in the husk of a PROGRESS brand currently airing on WWE Network, Moloney is a beast awaiting the chance to break out on a bigger stage.

British wrestling shows increased signs of life in 2021, though it is still reeling from COVID-19 and the #SpeakingOut movement in several ways (not to mention years of WWE talent raids). Limited options exist on the isles at the moment - and it only takes a flick through Moloney's work with Cara Noir, Jody Fleisch, and more to see he's capable of more.
