10 Highest Earning WCW Wrestlers Ever

5. Kevin Nash/Scott Hall ($1.6 Million Per Year)

For both Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, a huge part of the appeal upon holding preliminary talks with WCW was that the promotion's management were willing to pay them far more than Vince McMahon was for their services. Ironically, Nash had left WCW in the early-90's to try and make a name for himself in what he deemed the larger company, the WWF, but now he wanted back to the land of milk and honey. McMahon's WWF was struggling a little financially in 1996, and the previously-dubbed Razor Ramon and Diesel wanted to go where the cash was flowing. Bagging themselves huge contracts with WCW, Nash and Hall were renamed 'The Outsiders', and started one of the best storylines in wrestling history by forming the nWo. Looking out for one another, Hall and Nash were each handed similar deals, receiving $1.6 million each for their work in WCW per year. As savvy a businessman as Nash is, there's a good chance there were other incentives included, such as bonus money for Pay-Per-View revenue and merchandise sales. In fact, even when Hall was off television for most of 2000, he still collected his downside guarantee, so there can't have been any set guidelines on minimum appearances.
