10 Highest Earning WCW Wrestlers Ever

4. Sting ($2 Million Per Year)

Giving WCW's management a little credit, those and such as those in charge realised that Sting was one name the promotion's fans expected to be featured heavily right up until the end of the road. Even when things were at their most bleak in WCW, Sting was a constant reminder that things could turn around, because he was the one star that had never defected to the WWF. Of course, Sting has since competed in WWE, but he was WCW through and through in the late-80's and during the entire decade of the 90's. Largely playing second fiddle to the likes of Hollywood Hogan and the nWo, Steve Borden - the man behind the face paint - was still smart enough to wangle himself a killer deal, making it all worth it. Reworking his WCW contract just in time for his awesome run as the mysterious, rafter-dwelling character inspired by Brandon Lee in 'The Crow', Sting managed to capture a $2 million per annum agreement. That deal would run right on through to 2002, when his contract with AOL/Time Warner would expire, a year after WCW's demise.
