10 HUGE AEW Double Or Nothing Predictions You Need To Know

3. Cody Vs. Dustin Rhodes

Cody and Dustin Rhodes have been waiting for a stage this size for four years, when their planned WrestleMania 31 bout was scrapped on the back of a lacklustre Fastlane 2015 outing.

"That much sucked," the former Goldust recently told SI. "The world didn't like it, and neither did Cody or I. They gave us Fastlane and it was a stinker. We were told it wasn't good enough to be on a WrestleMania."

While Double Or Nothing isn't a show of 'Mania's scale, it's still a monstrous platform. These two, more than anything in the world, want this match to work, and they deserve our faith. The #NightmareVsNatural video content has been sublime. On top of this, Cody has proved himself one of the business' sharpest minds since leaving WWE, and Dustin is one of the most underrated and smartest performers of all time. They have the will, but do they have the way?

This will be a big test of Dustin in particular. He's coming off double knee surgery at 50 years old, but the wrestling world should know better than to bet against a Rhodes in 2019.

Winner: Cody.
