10 Huge AEW Full Gear Predictions You Need To Know

1. A Noteworthy Debut

AEW has debuted new surprise acts on each of its major pay shows, insofar as everybody, technically made their bow at Double Or Nothing: the Dark Order, Jon Moxley, and at All Out, Santana and Ortiz.

It's a neat trope - excitement on top of excitement that creates intrigue ahead of the next show - and it seems perfect for the TV model, given AEW's sparse pay-per-view schedule. These accordingly are big, big shows, on which big impacts can be made.

But who will appear at Full Gear?

Marty Scurll is an interesting bet; he's marooned in Ring Of Honor, and that company is mired with so many issues that institutional rot has long since set in. He is almost certain to leave - there's no buzz about him at all in 2019, much less the growing perception that he was becoming a top-tier worker - but it's unclear when specifically his contract is up. "Sometime in November" is all that is known, but WWE - where his long-time girlfriend Deonna Purrazzo is signed - will inevitably wave money at him. Then again, Purrazzo isn't likely to be raving about an NXT system that has no use for her.

Wardlow is the safer bet; the muscled, relative unknown is signed and ready, and Joey Janela's bumping style would make him look even more like a colossus in a post-match beatdown angle.
