9. Sting
Though Sting has only had two WWE matches, the 56-year-old superstar has had two PPV matches that were second billing on the card. Unfortunately, his second bout - a WWE Championship match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions - saw "The Vigilante" suffer a freak neck injury. While he was able to finish the match, early speculation seemed to indicate that the injury was severe and that Sting's in-ring career may have been ended. Details on Sting's condition have been sparse over the course of the past two months, though interviews with the former WCW Champion and Rollins in the days after Night of Champions hinted that things may not have been as bad as initially thought. Still, the man still suffered an injury to his spinal cord, and rushing him back to the ring is in nobody's best interest. While we probably haven't seen the last of Sting in a WWE ring, he won't be ready to compete in time for WrestleMania.
