10 Huge Names Who Won't Be Competing At WrestleMania 32

10. Randy Orton

A week before the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, Randy Orton was announced as being out of his scheduled match, where he was to tag with Dean Ambrose against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman. Michael Cole speculated that he had been injured by The Wyatt Family, but the truth was far more mundane and far more disappointing - Orton, who has had a history of shoulder injuries, reportedly dislocated one of his shoulders while taking out the trash at home. According to initial estimates, he's expected to be out a total of four to six months. While the lower end of that range puts him back in action in time for a WrestleMania buildup and match, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Orton's injury is "really serious." Odds are that he won't be ready to go in February or March, and even if he is technically cleared before WrestleMania, WWE will likely wait until after the event to bring him back to television, rather than rush a feud for the show of shows. While Orton has floundered as a babyface, he's been part of great matches at the past two WrestleMania events. His absence from this year's card will be a major blow to it.
