10 HUGE Predictions For Independent Wrestling After ALL IN

7. WWE's Signing Blitz Continues

Neville Wwe
WWE

A beaming Matt Riddle was shown in the front row at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4, having become the latest major independent name to jump to WWE's famed developmental brand. He's a special talent, and a performer who should be too charismatic to fail, but to those without an eye on what goes on outside WWE he'll start off as just another indie wrestler trying to make it in a sports entertainment world.

More signings are coming. With ALL IN's success as the ROH/NJPW G1 Supercard selling out unfathomably quickly, Vince McMahon is on a mission to take everyone's toys away. It's not that these promotions have become true competition, but they're certainly too competitive for his liking, and anyone deemed a game-changer will be on his shortlist.

As the alternative wrestling movement grows, McMahon becomes more aggressive. WWE's financial clout, exposure levels, and security are unparalleled. He knows this, and he'll keep adding fresh names to his impossibly vast talent pool, so expect dozens to come streaming through the doors over the coming months.

The independents will restock (they always do), but expect the next 1-2 years to be a time of great personnel upheaval.
