10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2021

9. Sadie Gibbs

Sadie Gibbs didn't receive a fair chance in AEW.

'The Amazing Grace's' signing was confirmed at the first Double or Nothing pay-per-view, with her three matches for the promotion (yes, only three) coming as part of the 2019 Women's Casino Battle Royale, and two meaningless bouts on the early episodes of Dark. Unfortunately for her, the ongoing global health crisis put a halt to her AEW career. Unable to travel to the Jacksonville-based tapings, Gibbs was cut from the payroll, and that was that.

It's a massive shame for both Gibbs and All Elite Wrestling, as the Englishwoman was on track to become a bona fide star within a few years' time. One of the most athletic performers of her time, known for her GIF-able Sasuke Special flips, Sadie had been highly talked about prior to her AEW arrival, owing to her work in Japan's Stardom promotion. This shouldn't change after her release, either.

We haven't really heard too much about her future, but she would be a prime fit for NXT's women's division. The athleticism she possesses is a benefit to the company in itself. There's still a bit of groundwork needed to round her out, though Sadie hasn't even reached 30-years-old yet.

Give her a few years, and Gibbs will be talked about in the same respect as your Charlotte Flairs.
