10 Huge Wrestling Stars Who Lost To Ridiculous Opponents

8. Becky Lynch Loses To Dana Brooke

There are caveats to this, but there also aren't.

Yes, you could make the argument that Becky's character is unravelling and thus susceptible to a shock defeat driven by her arrogance, and that Asuka interfered, but she should be nowhere near the 24/7 geeks in terms of physical space, much less booking. The result from this week's RAW was a dumb stunt plotted to advance her programme with Asuka, but there are other means of arriving at that - such as angles, promos, and the like. Leave it to WWE to make you mourn the days when you could ask the question "Can they co-exist?"

This was somehow much worse!

The result won't matter in storylines, which means it won't matter in reality; Dana Brooke has as much chance of getting on the next Premium Live Event as a McMahon not named Vince does of inheriting the throne.

But this sort of nonsensical booking has ruined true, lasting fan investment for years and years at this point. Things won't change until WWE stops doing incredibly weird sh*t.

Which seems remarkably easy, but alas.
