10 HUGE WWE Fastlane 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

The decline in focus on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's heelish association has been as dispiriting as the overall collapse of the Shane McMahon/Daniel Bryan storyline in recent weeks, with an almost complete abandonment of the longstanding conflict implying that nothing between the four will even be referenced in the near future - let alone settled in a match at WrestleMania.

Sami playing his hand a few days early on SmackDown Live! wasn't the smartest move for the character either. Promising to lay down for Kevin on the night itself, he went back on his word in their practice five-way, suggesting that they could again be in opposite corners at the 'Show Of Shows'.

If recent stories are to be believed, the pair may not even be afforded that. Either because they're still in the bad books for their behaviour on a UK tour last year, or because the company's creative team simply don't feel the need to programme them in anything meaningful, it appears as though both men may end up scrambling for scraps in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. This presumably means their union will come apart at the seams once and for all at Fastlane. Such a shame that after all this time though, none of it will even matter.
