2. Great Ones

The Rock's involvement may be the most captivating element of an absolutely loaded SmackDown Fox debut, but what exactly will the 'Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment' bring to Staples Center for his first live televised appearance in three years.

'The Great One' seemed to enjoy his semi-regular appearances for the company following a 2011 return for his feud with John Cena, but that tapered off after a WrestleMania 32 humbling of The Wyatt Family alongside 'The Champ' himself. It was surely damaged a year earlier when what should have been a routine rub of Roman Reigns at the 2015 Royal Rumble resulted in both of them getting booed. Here, he could revisit both memories with and insert himself briefly into a storyline.

The singles clash between 'The Big Dog' and recently-rechristened Erick Rowan is just build-up banter for the Hell In A Cell tag match on Sunday, but a prior beatdown of Daniel Bryan to tease his loyalties could leave Roman short-handed against Rowan and Harper's heavy-duty hits before the legendary music strikes.

Saving the day in Bryan's absence would tee up the pay-per-view match, whilst then leaving the floor free for Rock to cut his usual goosebumps and actually enjoy a pop alongside his relative.
