10 Huge WWE Stars In Danger Of Missing WrestleMania 36

2. Samoa Joe

Watching Samoa Joe, suited and booted behind the commentary desk, gave both the audience and his bosses an enthralling reminder of what they were missing, it seemed an impossibility he wouldn't be thrown into a big program. Locking horns with golden-boy Seth Rollins in a feud that dominated the main event of Monday Night Raw, the writing was on the wall.

However, a concussion suffered earlier in the year seemed to stutter these plans, before a 30-day Wellness Policy suspension might well have thrown them out of the window entirely. Joe was suspended at the end of February, so he can return to television towards the end of March, but whether or not he will looks to be another matter entirely.

In his absence, Owens and Rollins look to be the 'Mania combination of choice, with Buddy Murphy simply orbiting around these two larger stars. Finding a way for Joe to fit back into things here feels like a bit of a stretch, and starting something from scratch less than two weeks before the show seems out of the question entirely.
