10 HUGE WWE Stomping Grounds Predictions You Need To Know

7. Samoa Joe (c) Vs. Ricochet

A bonafide show-stealer if it's given time to shine, the mouthwatering in-match possibilities that come from Samoa Joe acting as Ricochet's bumping base spring from the imagination quicker than the 'One & Only' himself.

Though his trajectory remains as chequered as anybody else's on a main roster that rewards nothing, Ricochet is perhaps the best-placed NXT call-up of 2019 beyond a certain fellow title match recipient slightly higher up on this card. But the comparisons with her end there.

Bringing his otherworldly athleticism to the most moribund of Raw matches, Ricochet's been a palette cleanser between ungainly courses on the flagship for quite some time, and Joe's in need of the type of match that justifies the stellar promo work he puts in to every programme.

Given time and given permission to go off book from the usual WWE formula, this pairing posits something very special indeed. Given neither, and could be one of the biggest missed opportunities of the year. From this alone, the company have contrived stakes that - unlike the United States Title - actually matter.

Winner - Samoa Joe
