10 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

8. Sheamus (c) Vs. Damian Priest

In spite of substantial systemic rot, Damian Priest has had an extremely positive 2021.

Escaping NXT before the roof completely caved in, 'The Archer Of Infamy' had height on his side if not a lot of time. Hitting the main roster just ahead of hitting 40 smacks of the Diamond Dallas Page's, but there are worse comparisons in pro wrestling. Priest shone in a big celebrity outing at WrestleMania, and will now be trusted with a high profile win on WWE's highest profile stage in nearly two years.

40,000 people are going to see the former NXT North American Champion score his first WWE singles title, and while the belt doesn't matter, the acknowledgment does. That it'll be Sheamus doing the honours will only help too.

Badly booked when it wasn't injury-plagued, 'The Celtic Warrior's run since WrestleMania has been one to forget. But it could yet at least end in something to remember for the incumbent titleholder.

Winner - Damian Priest
