10 Huge WWE Superstar Shake-up Predictions To Save SmackDown Live!

6. Goldust

Goldust's contributions to Monday Night Raw have been minimal since parting ways with Awesome Truth partner R-Truth in 2017, despite the 'Bizarre One' reintroducing a beautiful reimagining of his original attire and his in-ring work rarely falling below excellent. Such talents may be better served with room to breathe on the blue brand.

In truth, he may be of even greater use behind the curtain. Dustin Runnels has around 30 years experience in the industry at this point, having probably forgotten more than most of the youngest talents on the roster have so far even learned. His performances opposite The Shield in their formative years were invaluable, and he's since worked with (and generally put over) a host of up-and-coming stars as one of the company's most assured veterans.

A secondary or tag title reign is now probably too far from reach, but even his cameos on early-2018 editions of 205 Live highlighted his immense malleability regardless of the position the company deign appropriate for him at this point. As useful as a jobber-to-the-stars or on the losing end of a star-making storyline, Goldust's value has theoretically never been greater considering the noted lack of bonafide headliners currently breaking through.
