10 Hypothetical WWE Signings (And Whether They'd Have Succeeded Or Failed)

9. The Young Bucks

Young Bucks NXT
ROH

Over the last five years or so, these two have become arguably the best natural brother tag team in all of wrestling, with their amazing charisma, excellent chemistry and exciting maneuvers. Given WWE’s renewed interest in the tag team division (as seen by the recent Dudley Boyz signing), it would make sense to sign a team that has lots of experience in that field.

Success or Failure in WWE: Failure

Two major factors work against these brothers.

First, WWE would have to get past their small stature. Both of them are less than 6 feet tall and weigh less than 200 pounds, which would make them among the smallest wrestlers in the company. They’d have to make up for it with their flashy and exciting wrestling maneuvers, which would naturally elicit a positive reaction from the crowd.

Second, they have a noted attitude problem. It was reported that in 2011, when they were in TNA and then shortly afterwards at a WWE try-out, they were disrespectful towards older veterans. Given that this is WWE we’re talking about, where even the slightest insult towards a veteran can derail your bourgeoning career (just ask Shelton Benjamin or CM Punk), their time in WWE would be over before it would have a chance to begin.

Here you have two smaller wrestlers who, despite their skills, don’t always play the respect game. Given the minefield that it WWE’s backstage world, these two wouldn’t stand a chance.
