There are many reasons to love DDP, and not all of them are even a part of his wrestling character.

DDP started his career in WCW as the Fabulous Freebird's manager and eventually transitioned into an in-ring performer at Magnum T.A's advice. From there he worked hard and established himself as one of WCW's top babyfaces and became a decorated champion.

Even despite a drastic heel turn that caused Pro Wrestling Illustrated to call him the Most Hated Wrestler of 1999, he was beloved by fans thanks to his charisma and charm. Sadly, while his debut in WWF was met by an uproarious reaction from the crowd, his weird stalker gimmick didn't do any favours for the man.

Further than being a wrestling legend, DDP has established himself as a great person outside of the ring. His motivational fitness programme - DDP Yoga - is a great source of help for many people, and he even played an instrumental role in the health and redemption of Jake 'The Snake' Roberts. How can anyone hate on a man who's done so much good?
