So Chris Jericho is the IWGP Intercontinental Champion... weird times we live in.

In a move that fits with New Japan's new aggressive marketing to the west, the future WWE hall-of-famer defeated Tetsuya Naito at Dominion to win his first title in the company.

What happens now? I honestly cannot tell you. No one, not even New Japan's #1 fan Dave Meltzer, has any clue how many dates Jericho is signed for with New Japan. Between his tour with Fozzy as well as his cruise coming in October, the logistics of when and who he's going to wrestle is a conundrum.

However, the only thing we know for sure is that Kenny Omega has a win over him, and that the two wrestled a five star classic at this year's Wrestle Kingdom. Near the end of the year, Omega should get a title shot at Jericho and once again defeat the "Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rolla" to gain his second intercontinental championship.

You know where I'm going with this...
