10 Impulse Reactions Following WWE Money In The Bank 2017

3. Baron's Big Night

Baron Corbin is 'Mr. Money In The Bank', and, well, why not?

'The Lone Wolf' isn't particularly good at one single thing just yet, but he gradually gets better at everything. His ring work is unspectacular but robust and hard-hitting, especially when he's given smaller foes to drive into the canvas.

His microphone skills on the main shows leave something to be desired, but his stick work away from the live crowd is exemplary. Appearances on Talking Smack have been the highlights of his entire run, with his ability to extoll ludicrous confidence in himself an absolute riot as long as he has some motivation and direction.

He even wrestles in a shirt now to combat the belly face thing nobody could stop looking at.

The point is, Corbin has made lots of small gains since bursting onto the main roster in last year's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and the guaranteed title shot is the latest useful weapon in his admittedly still-limited arsenal.

Clambering up after dumping AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura from the ladder with Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens flattened on the floor, the ugly blue briefcase will now travel alongside him until he potentially becomes the third first-time WWE Champion this year alongside Jinder Mahal and Bray Wyatt. Prepare for even more 'Land of Opportunity' promos than usual on this week's episode.
