If you enjoy hearing Samantha Irvin announce new champions, WrestleMania 40 was your show.

During the course of the two nights, there were seven new champions crowned, a record for WrestleMania. WWE boasted two new sets of tag champs (splitting the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship), new Intercontinental Champion, two new World Heavyweight Champions (Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest), new WWE Women’s Champion, and new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in Cody Rhodes.

There have been WrestleManias with five new champs crowned – WrestleManias 34, 35 and 37 had five title changes on the main card – but never seven. Only two champions who walked into WrestleMania 40 – Rhea Ripley and Logan Paul – walked out with their titles intact. They should probably consider themselves lucky.

Is it possible that this record could be broken? With nine active titles on the main roster, it’s entirely possible that WWE could pull the trigger on shaking up every title picture down the line, but this was a truly unique feature for WrestleMania 40.
