10 Insanely High and Death-Defying Falls In Wrestling
5. Vic Grimes vs. New Jack (XPW Freefall)
The last time Vic Grimes and New Jack faced off, New Jack pulled Grimes with him as he jumped off a raised platform, missing the table below and splatting onto the concrete. Grimes landed on New Jack, cracked Jack's skull, and left him with literal brain damage.
By the time the sequel to that war rolled around, XPW was picking the bones of ECW's hardcore audience, and it hosted another hard-to-watch battle between the bloody rivals.
There are conflicting stories from Grimes and New Jack regarding the finish of the match, and just how severe Grimes's planned injuries were meant to be - but when you watch the footage, it's not hard to believe claims that New Jack attempted to seriously and maliciously injure his opponent.
Not only is the fall significantly higher than Brian Lee's, but Grimes ragdolls off the ropes before hitting the mat. It's the stuff of nightmares.
