It doesn't get any more unimaginative than this. At least with TLC, you're promising the fans a car wreck, even if you're making the matches adhere to a spot on the calendar. Ditto Hell in a Cell, as it's a match that people would look forward to if the feud was enticing. WWE's burned out the audience with gimmick PPVs, but at least most of the gimmicks are exciting. The same can't be said for Fatal 4 Way, an event with a pair of, yes, fatal four way matches for the two World Championships. The idea that a fatal four way could be such a novelty that it would require its own pay-per-view (in 2010!) speaks volumes of how desperately out of ideas the company was in that moment.
