10 Lamest WWE Survivor Series Teams Ever

9. The Spirit Squad (2006)

The Spirit Squad were, of course, not simply put together as a Survivor Series team. They were a pre-existing stable with a terrible cheerleading gimmick that consisted of Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Mikey and Nicky (who is now Dolph Ziggler, of course), but they took part in the 2006 Survivor Series in a match against a quartet of ageing wrestling legends (who were, appropriately, given the team name "WWE Legends"). Mitch sat out the match to even the numbers against the team of Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes and Ron Simmons, while Arn Anderson's presence made the possibility of Mitch illegally getting involved less of a potential threat. The Spirit Squad - who were competing in the tag division at the time and did actually win a title - lost the match, in spite of Ron Simmons being counted out early and Sgt. Slaughter following next. In fact, Ric Flair was left on his own against Mikey, Kenny and Johnny and beat them all with his classic moves and tactics.
