10 Last Minute Changes That Saved Wrestling Stables
5. SAnitY
If you’ve never quite understood what appears to be random capitalisation in SAnitY’s name, let me help you out here. The capital Y was for Eric Young, the capital A was for Alexander Wolfe and the “nit” in the centre was for Nikki Cross. Oh, and the capital S was for Killian Dain.
Oh wait, what? No, sorry, “S” for Sawyer Fulton.
Sadly for Fulton, he’s reduced to little more than wrestling these days as his tenure with WWE amounted to very little. After debuting as part of SAnitY, he tore a pectoral muscle two months into their run and was ejected from the group. He was very quickly replaced by Dain, and was sadly out of the company about a year later.
Dain was the right man for the job and continued the group’s momentum that had been gained from their intriguing vignettes, shock reveal of Eric Young as the leader and their seriously underrated theme music. Dain provided that fullback position of the muscle to back up SAnitY’s anarchic behaviour in a way that Fulton couldn’t have mustered. He cut a much more imposing figure and added an even more intentional flavour to the already varied group.
To make matters worse for Fulton however, the original SAnitY concept was pitched to him way before the others got involved and was originally made up of himself, Solomon Crowe and Marcus Louis. It was put on hold and, when it finally did happen, pretty much opened the door for Fulton to be kicked out of the company. Ouch.
