10 Last-Minute WWE No Mercy 2017 Rumours You Need To Know
8. Asuka Joins The Fray
The Raw Women's Championship match at No Mercy has been in a state of chaos over the past few weeks. Though Sasha Banks defeated Alexa Bliss for the belt at SummerSlam, Bliss recaptured it eight days later on Raw. Banks was ready to invoke her rematch clause for the PPV, but Nia Jax and Emma demanded to be added to the match. When they beat Banks and Bliss in a tag bout, they got their wish, and a fatal four-way was signed.
Things seemed to be settled - until Monday's Raw, when Bayley made her return from an elbow injury. She was added to the match as well, and suddenly, the bout became a five-way. This all begs the question - could we see another surprise addition in the form of Asuka, who should be returning from injury soon and is already confirmed to be joining Raw?
It would certainly be a great debut for the undefeated star if she claimed gold in her first match, but expect her to have a slower road to the title. Rumors stating that she'll be feuding with Emma when she gets called up seem more credible than any chance of her working No Mercy.
