10 Least Anticipated WWE Returns

6. Tatanka

Tatanka is one of those iconic wrestlers from the gimmick era of WWE. So why the powers that be thought he could work in the years following the Attitude Era almost defies belief. There's only so far nostalgia can take you, and this was used up pretty early on in the native American's run. He initially debuted in the WWE in 1992 and was given an undefeated streak that the likes of Goldberg would have been proud of... He also won the 40-man Bashed in the USA battle royal, defeated Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania IX and was honoured by previous Native American professional wrestlers Chief Jay Strongbow, Chief Wahoo McDaniel and by Lumbee tribesman Ray Littleturtle on an edition of Raw. However, his career took a pretty steep decline and he was released from his contract in 1996. He returned nine years later in what seemed to be a one off appearance as part of the 'Eugene Invitational'. However, he was hired to a full time deal in time for the 2006 Royal Rumble. He teamed with Matt Hardy, feuded with Sylvain Grenier and legitimately got himself adopted into the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Apart from that, his two year stay was nothing to write home about which is sure to have disappointed a generation of WWE fans. http://de.wwe.com/videos/tatankas-wwe-introductory-video-26036245
