10 Least Anticipated WWE Returns

4. Albert

Ah, Lord Tensai. What a waste of time. Tensai, known as Prince Albert, Albert and A-Train before departing WWE in 2004, was one of those nearly men in his first run in WWE. He had the tools, his wrestling ability was ok (not excellent by any stretch of the imagination), while his character as the no nonsense a** kicker suited him to the ground. All this led to nothing more than an Intercontinental Championship reign, a WrestleMania defeat at the hands of The Undertaker and a prolonged spell in X Factor... On his return, he was billed to have built a terrifying reputation over in the Far East. So terrifying that he went on quite a remarkable winning streak, scoring pin fall victories over the likes of John Cena and CM Punk. In reality however, his time in Japan was very solid but nothing much more than that. He held the IWGP Tag Team Championships twice, won the G1 Tag League twice with former WWE superstar Tyson Tomko and sealed a New Japan Cup win in 2006. Soon after those main event level wins over Messrs Punk and Cena, 'Lord' was dropped from his name and he stopped wearing the Japanese style gown to the ring. This change saw the wins stop and 'Tons Of Funk' born. The least said about that combination the better. Jason Albert retired mid way through last year and can be heard commentating on NXT. He is also rumoured to be Bill DeMott's successor as head trainer at the WWE Performance Center. Good luck to the future of the WWE if that's the case... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYAa3nidq_g
