10 Least Intimidating WWE Monsters Ever

3. Snitsky

Braun Strowman
WWE

No matter how hard they tried, the WWE just couldn't make a true monster out of the man known as Gene Snitsky. He was introduced to the WWE Universe in autumn 2004, hitting Kane with a chair and causing the Big Red Monster to fall into Lita, who was then pregnant but subsequently lost the baby. Mid 2000s WWE was a terrible, terrible place.

The story itself is terrifying, but Snitsky was cartoonish throughout and thus became all but blunt as a figure of fear. It didn't help that he had a catchphrase, frequently stating 'It wasn't my fault', in deliberate tones. In truth this whole mess wasn't Snitsky's fault, but instead of coming off as a monster the big man felt more like that weird overgrown kid in American teen movies who starts off scary but becomes friendly and comical.

Snitsky has found a much more natural role as an on-screen pitchman for a power pressure cooker on YouTube. I'm not joking either, take a look.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
