10 Least Over Wrestlers To Ever Headline WWE WrestleMania

In 2010, WWE had a star making crisis (sound familiar?). The likes of John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre and Daniel Bryan all had potential. Ultimately, however, WWE settled on The Miz as their potential next big thing. It wasn't an absurd choice by any stretch. The former 'The Real World' star had been knocking it out of the park on the mic and was a solid US Champion.

While his work rate was nothing to sing about, The Miz had a big personality, had pushed himself hard in the weights room and was a consummate professional. Sadly, despite some obvious star power, his eventual title win in November 2010 was booked perplexingly. After eating losses at several PPVs, Mizanin, a man no longer able to secure the middling US belt, stole the WWE Title from an injured Randy Orton.

Already lacking credibility, The Miz was booked to be incapable of beating a geriatric Jerry Lawler without Michael Cole and Alex Riley's help. He was made to look like a lucky chump in his title feud with Randy Orton as well. By 'Mania XXVII, the faux hawk enthusiast was the least convincing WWE Champion in years. Worse still, his main event with John Cena was second fiddle to the considerably more exciting Cena vs. The Rock angle.

Bar his blink-and-you'll-miss-it WWE Championship run last year, The Miz has rarely gotten near the big gold in the years since. His WrestleMania main event is a bad memory for seemingly everyone but the man himself thanks to a concrete floor concussion.
