10 Legitimate Fighters Who Competed In WWE
2. Brock Lesnar
Paul Heyman's favourite (and, very possibly, only) client could probably beat just about anyone in the world in a no holds barred fight to the death. If you're skeptical about that claim, go back and watch the crushing right hand he landed on Braun Strowman at last week's Royal Rumble.
What sets Brock Lesnar apart from nearly everyone else on this list is that he's actually competed in two different types of legitimate fighting: amateur wrestling - where he held the NCAA Heavyweight Title during his college days - and, latterly, mixed martial arts.
It was in UFC where the sporting world really stood up and paid attention. Despite getting into the sport relatively late in the day, the Beast Incarnate beat industry legend Randy Couture in 2008 to win the promotion's biggest prize, which he carried for almost two years.
As for his success in the squared circle, if you've followed WWE at all over the last five years then you'll know that there is seldom a moment when Lesnar is not at the very heart of the Monday Night Raw main event. And, in case you haven't figured it out yet, this trend is set to continue until at least his date with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34.
