10 Live Observations From Attending WWE Raw Live In Manchester

7. It Felt Like A Privilege To Watch WALTER Wrestle

Earlier in the night, fans had seen WALTER and Imperium make their mark during the SmackDown taping as they laid a post-match beating on The New Day, Heavy Machinery, and a few other blue brand faces. And with that, the Manchester crowd thought they'd seen the last of this stable.

When Seth Rollins came out on Raw to a chorus of boos, his challenge to face the best that the UK has to offer had many fans thinking that Pete Dunne or Tyler Bate may answer the call. Despite WALTER being the NXT United Kingdom Champion, the majority of those watching were genuinely surprised by Imperium reemerging to make their mark on Raw.

After his SmackDown appearance, the crowd thought that we couldn't possibly get another WALTER appearance - let alone get to see him wrestle. But that is exactly what happened, as WALTER and Rollins had a good ten-minute match that ultimately ended in a DQ after the rest of Imperium interfered to lead to an eight-man tag that saw Seth teaming with Kevin Owens and The Street Profits.

For those in the Manchester Arena, there was a sense of almost privilege at getting to see WALTER wrestle. On a night of suffering through some dogsh*t awful SmackDown and Raw segments, the surprise of seeing WALTER compete was a much welcomed one.
