10 Live Observations From WWE EL Paso

1. Sin Cara's Moment In The Sun

This may seem hard to believe, especially in 2017, but easily the best moment of the night was had by none other than Sin Cara.

Leading up to his match against Mike Kanellis, Sin Cara came to the ring with his son, "Sin Carita" (who was wearing a miniature version of his father's ring gear), to one of the biggest pops of the night.

Also, despite the fact that the character of Sin Cara has always been billed from Mexico City, the man behind the mask, formerly known as Hunico, is in fact an El Paso native. So, Byron Saxton broke kayfabe just a bit and announced El Paso as the faceless one's hometown, which only made his pop louder.

Sin Cara then put on a superb (and botch-free) clinic in lucha libre unlike anything we've seen him do on TV in ages. And to finish up the match, he climbed to the top rope while Kanellis was on his back, pointed upwards to the sky, and delivered a frog splash à la Eddie Guerrero to get the three-count.

It was the feel-good match of the night and arguably one of the single greatest moments of Sin Cara's career.
