9. Newsworthy Night For Catch Point

Catch Point's Drew Gulak and Tracy Williams may have won the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship earlier on Saturday, but their busy day wasn't over yet. Stable leader Gulak went one on one with EVOLVE newcomer Fred Yehi, and the result was an exciting, unorthdox battle. Yehi uses a unique style that makes heavy use of stomps to opponents' hands, feet, and ankles, and he used the stomps to wear Gulak down before moving on to suplexes. Still, Gulak fought back, and in the end, the Catch Point member eventually cinched in the Gu-Lock to gain the submission victory. After the bout, the rest of the team entered the ring and Gulak got on the microphone, professing his respect for Fred Yehi. He reiterated that the team's mission was to promote the best competition, and given Yehi's abilities, he offered him a spot on the team. Yehi thought the offer over briefly, then accepted a Catch Point T-shirt from Matt Riddle. He shook every teammate's hand, joining the stable officially.
