10 Longest Tenured Members Of WWE's Roster
4. Kofi Kingston
When KofiMania was in full swing, fans were reminded how quickly time flies when Kofi Kingston was talking about his 11 year journey to the WWE Championship. Debuting on 22 January 2008 for the second coming of ECW, Kofi was the billed as the first Jamaican born superstar in WWE history, despite not having any connection to the country.
After a brief stint with ECW, Kingston would be drafted to Raw and on his first night on the red brand defeat Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental Championship. Kofi would soon drop the Jamaican accent and would go on to have a respectable run, winning the Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Championships all on more than one occasion.
Despite Kofi Kingston's initial success, the Ghanian superstar would not reach the heights he was capable of until 28 November 2014. On that day The New Day debuted, the pairing of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods. The team has had unparalleled success as a faction, winning 11 tag team championships across Raw and SmackDown. With all of his tag team accomplishments, including the most days as tag team champion in WWE history, the highlight of Kofi Kingston's career would come at WrestleMania 35. Riding the wave of KofiMania, the longtime WWE veteran would finally capture the WWE Championship, defeating Daniel Bryan.
