3. The Miz

Of every WWE Superstar on this list, nobody was less likely to have a career in professional wrestling, let alone a 16-year run for the biggest promotion in the world than The Miz. While appearing on MTV's The Real World, Mike Mizanin would state his desire to become a wrestler, being scoffed at by much of his cast.

However, Mike would parlay his reality television fame into a spot on WWE's $1,000,000 Tough Enough. Despite not winning the guaranteed contract, Mizanin would sign with Vince McMahon's company shortly thereafter. While some of Tough Enough would take place on SmackDown, The Miz would officially arrive on the blue brand on 2 June 2006 as the shows host.

Things would not start great for The Miz, as he would often flub his lines, was not great in the ring, and was infamously kicked out of WWE's locker room. Despite all of his early struggles, The Miz would pull through, slowly becoming one of the cornerstones of the company. Over the next 16 years, The Miz has gone from one of the most hated to most respected members of the roster, including being the only two time Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.
