6. The Car Incident

There's nothing worse than when WWE feels the need to shove pro wrestlers into "sports entertainment" moments like square pegs into round holes. Everything about the segment was wrong, and ultimately made him look incredibly unappealing in the eyes of the WWE Universe. Here's the laundry list of concerns: Daniel Bryan is eco-friendly and would never drive a giant Cadillac. Yes, they needed a car big enough for Kane to fit into, and Vince probably doesn't think that the Dodge Prius looks as cool as a Caddy, but, it made no sense. It's the small details... When you realize that the car has been tampered with, why wouldn't you a) tell your wife to go back inside the building, and then, b) find a nearby piece of wood or something to fight Kane. He's obviously nearby. He's been a WWE character doing this for damned near 20 years now. Daniel Bryan deserved the benefit of the doubt. Once back inside the car and you see your wife getting manhandled by Kane, why do you even get outside of the car to fight him. Moreover, why would Kane come outside, too? Yes, I know it's because the cameras have to have a good angle, but, seriously. UFC is cool now and the need to be contrived is completely unnecessary now. When driving away and hearing Kane fall off the top of your car, just keep driving away. Again, 20 years of WWE television state that he's going to sit back up. He just is. Driving your loving wife to safety? Much more important than caring about the welfare of the man who wants to chokeslam you to hell, win your championship and likely defile your new wife.
