10 Lowest Rated WWE Matches Of All Time (According To Dave Meltzer)

6. Finlay & Little Bastard Vs. The Boogeyman & Little Boogeyman (No Way Out 2007)

Unless we're talking Hornswoggle and El Torito's ludicrously entertaining WeeLC match at Extreme Rules 2014, WWE don't tend to do a good job when it comes to booking miniature wrestlers on pay-per-view. Sadly, No Way Out 2007's mixed tag match pitting Finlay and 'Little Bastard' ('Swoggle's original moniker) against The Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman proves that they learned nothing from the Survivor Series '94 debacle.

The match started with Finlay working over The Boogeymen, while his sidekick hid under the ring. The Irishman took control by throwing Little Boogey to the outside, and the future Hornswoggle finally entered the fray, though he was terrified of Boogey. Boogeyman chased him around the ring, the referee got distracted, and Finlay whacked Little Boogeyman with the shillelagh for the win.

The absurdity of seeing Finlay, one of the toughest men in wrestling, messing around with a couple of little people makes this one a shade more enjoyable than The Royal Family vs. Clowns R' Us - though Meltzer clearly disagreed.

As a comedy sketch, it was harmless fun, but the negative rating is more than justified, if judged as a pure wrestling match.
