Nobody watching pro wrestling at that time will ever forget the night Owen Hart tragically passed away live on the WWF's Over The Edge 1999 pay-per-view. Falling from the rafters of the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, Owen sadly died on his way to hospital.

Competing over in WCW, his brother Bret - who has arguably never been the same since - travelled with the company to that same arena for Monday Nitro on October 4, 1999. Mere months after his brother had perished, Bret wanted to pay tribute to Owen. Obliging, management allowed him the opportunity to do so, agreeing to book a match between Bret and Chris Benoit.

Going around 32 minutes, the pair produced a true wrestling clinic. Dedicating the match to his sibling wasn't just a hollow promise from Bret, he did everything to make the match great. Fans were right there with the duo, enjoying the kind of hard-hitting classic that wasn't exactly commonplace on Nitro at that time.

It was classy of WCW to let this entire tribute happen, and it enabled Bret to say goodbye to his brother properly on the site of his death.
