6. Stings Squadron vs. The Dangerous Alliance (Wrestle War 1992)
One of the most underrated War Games matches in WWE history may also be the best. Wrestle War 1992 saw the team of Sting, Barry Windham, Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, and Nikita Koloff take on Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, Bobby Eaton, and Steve Austin. Sting and his old rival Nikita Koloff put their differences aside to the battle Paul E. Dangerously's dastardly Dangerous Alliance in the ultimate grudge match. Steve Austin set a Wargames record by blading about 30 seconds into the match and quickly became a bloody mess. Barry Windham, who excels at getting his face kicked in, did just that for the first portion of the match and quickly matched Austin in the blood loss department. After Windham wedged Anderson's head between the two rings (as painful looking as it sounds), heel manager Madusa managed to slip Dangerously's large cell phone to the heels. Everyone starts bleeding as things look bleak for the babyfaces until Nikita Koloff hits the ring and absolutely destroys everyone. He and Sting share a hug to put past differences aside and then commence to kicking ass. Rick Rude loosened the top rope away from the ring post and Bobby Eaton tried to use the exposed metal as a weapon but accidentally blasted Larry Zbyszko instead. Sting quickly applied an armbar to get the submission and win a fantastic Wargames match.
